Shabbiri Hardware started in 1990 as a very small stall in Kirinyaga. Just a corner of the market, a shelf of stock, and a simple promise: sell what's genuine, quote it fairly, and treat everyone who walks in with respect.
For 24 years, we served Kirinyaga. In 2014, the family made the move to Nairobi and opened a small shop on Magadi Road in Ongata Rongai — starting again from scratch, but carrying forward the reputation we'd spent a quarter of a century building.
A decade later, we operate two branches — the Rongai showroom and the Tuala warehouse — with 999+ products online, M-Pesa checkout, and delivery across Nairobi. Different scale, same principles. Since 1990: no fakes, honest pricing, and a team that knows every product on the shelf.
