A solvent-free, fast-curing structural epoxy in a 1:1 dual syringe. Bonds metal, wood, concrete, glass, ceramic and rigid plastics with exceptional lap shear strength — and it is ready to handle in minutes, not overnight.
Akfix E350 is a thermosetting two-part epoxy adhesive. The syringe holds two separate chambers: an epoxy resin (Component A) and a hardener (Component B). Neither component does anything on its own — they are stable in the pack indefinitely. The moment the two are mixed in a 1:1 ratio by volume, an exothermic chemical reaction begins. The resin cross-links into a dense, rigid polymer network that grips the surface mechanically and chemically.
Why epoxy beats ordinary glue. That cross-linked structure is why an epoxy bond behaves differently. It does not dry by evaporation, so it does not shrink, does not go brittle with age, and does not fail when the joint is submerged. It cures — chemically, permanently, and right through the thickness of the joint, including inside gaps where no air can reach.
The E350 is the fast-setting member of the Akfix epoxy family, formulated specifically for metal-to-metal and metal-to-substrate bonding where high lap shear strength is needed in minutes rather than hours.

Clamping and downtime are measured in minutes, not overnight.
Forms a structural, load-bearing bond on steel, aluminium, brass, copper and cast iron.
No heat gun, no oven, no special equipment.
The joint you clamp is the joint you get, with no pull-back on the bond line.
Bridges pits, worn threads, uneven mating faces and poorly fitting parts where a thin liquid glue would simply run out.
No solvent flash-off, no bond-line voids, low odour, safe for enclosed workshop use.
Resists water, moisture, petrol, oil, diesel, dilute acids and alkalis, and most common workshop solvents once fully cured.
Holds up to Kenyan outdoor conditions, UV exposure, rain and day-night thermal cycling.
The cured bead behaves like a rigid engineering plastic. Shape it, sand it flush, drill it, thread it or paint over it.
Safe for potting and sealing electrical components, terminals and junctions.
Dispenses equal, accurate quantities of resin and hardener every time. No weighing, no guesswork, no waste.
Completely inert and safe once fully cured.
Joins metal to wood, ceramic to metal, plastic to concrete — where welding, brazing or mechanical fixings are impossible.
Radiator and fuel tank pinhole repairs, exhaust joints, cracked housings, battery terminals, trim and badge re-fixing, mirror mounts, sensor brackets, motorcycle and boda-boda component repairs, cracked plastic body panels.
Sealing hairline leaks in metal and PVC pipework, water tank seams, tap and valve bodies, pump housings, shower fittings and threaded joints. Bonds and seals in one operation.
Re-bonding sheared studs and stripped bolt threads, worn keyways, cracked pulleys and housings, machine guards, conveyor components, generator and compressor casings, bearing seats and emergency line-side repairs that keep production running.
Anchoring bolts and dowels into concrete and masonry, fixing metal fittings to walls and floors, balustrade and handrail repairs, gate hinges, grille and burglar-bar repairs, roofing brackets, steel-to-concrete connections.
Potting and sealing connectors, insulating exposed joints, securing components on boards, cable gland sealing and switchgear housings.
Loose joints, broken chair and table legs, drawer runners, metal-to-wood fixings, cabinet hardware, door and window ironmongery.
Broken ceramic and porcelain, glass ornaments, garden tools, bicycle frames and racks, jewellery, model making, sculpture, knife and tool handles, sports equipment.
Clean both surfaces thoroughly. Remove all oil, grease, rust, paint, loose scale, dust, wax and moisture. Degrease with acetone, thinner or methylated spirit and let the surface flash off completely dry. Then abrade both faces with 80–120 grit sandpaper, emery cloth, a wire brush or a file until the surface is dull and keyed. A glossy, polished surface is an adhesive's worst enemy — epoxy needs texture to grip. Wipe away sanding dust with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. Dry-fit the parts before you mix anything so you know exactly how they go together.
Remove the cap from the syringe. If the nozzles are blocked with cured material, clear them with a pin. Press the plunger evenly and dispense equal amounts of resin and hardener onto a clean, disposable, non-absorbent surface — a scrap of cardboard, a plastic lid, a piece of glass or a tile offcut. Dispense only what you can use in about three minutes. Replace the cap immediately.
Using a matchstick, nail, small spatula or offcut of wood, mix the two beads together for 20 to 30 seconds until the colour is completely uniform with no streaks or marbling. Scrape the sides and the bottom of the puddle as you mix. Under-mixing is the single most common cause of a soft, tacky, failed epoxy joint — an unmixed portion will never cure. Once the components meet, the clock is running.
Apply a thin, even layer of the mixed epoxy to both mating surfaces. For gap filling, worn threads or a built-up repair, apply generously and shape the excess with your mixing stick. Aim for a bond line of about 0.1 to 3 mm — thicker is not stronger and generates more heat as it cures.
Bring the parts together within the working time. Press firmly and twist slightly to squeeze out air and wet both surfaces. Remove excess squeeze-out immediately with a dry cloth or the mixing stick — it is far easier now than after it has hardened. Hold, clamp, tape or wedge the joint so it cannot move for the first 5 to 10 minutes.
Leave the joint undisturbed. It will reach handling strength in roughly 5 to 20 minutes and can be machined, drilled, sanded, filed or painted after about an hour. Allow the full 16 to 24 hours before subjecting the repair to full load, water immersion, chemical exposure or vibration. Warmth speeds the cure; cold slows it considerably.
Sand the cured bead flush, file or drill it as needed, and paint over it if you want an invisible repair. Clean uncured epoxy from tools with acetone or thinner before it sets. Once cured, it can only be removed mechanically. Wash your hands with soap and warm water — never with solvent.
Akfix E350 sets in approximately 5 minutes at room temperature and reaches handling strength within 10 to 20 minutes. It can be sanded or machined after about an hour and reaches full chemical cure in 16 to 24 hours. Warmer temperatures speed this up considerably.
One part resin to one part hardener (1:1) by volume. The dual-barrel syringe dispenses both components in equal amounts automatically, so you simply press the plunger evenly and mix the two beads for 20 to 30 seconds.
Yes. Once fully cured, Akfix E350 is completely waterproof and resistant to water, moisture, oils, fuels, dilute acids and alkalis. It is widely used for pipe, tank and radiator leak repairs.
Yes. It bonds metal to metal, metal to wood, metal to concrete, metal to ceramic and metal to glass. Bonding dissimilar materials is one of its main strengths, since welding or mechanical fixing is often impossible in those combinations.
Yes. Once cured it behaves like a rigid engineering plastic — you can drill it, tap threads into it, file it, sand it flush and paint over it, which makes invisible repairs possible.
It bonds rigid plastics such as PVC, ABS, acrylic and fibreglass well, provided the surface is abraded first. It is not suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, silicone or flexible rubber.
Roughly 100 to 150 cm² at a 1 mm bond line — enough for many small repairs, or one substantial one. For a job that needs a firmer, non-sag consistency, ask us about the Akfix E350 Quick Fix Putty stick.
24 months from the date of manufacture when stored unopened in a cool, dry place between +5°C and +25°C, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, replace the cap immediately and use within a few months.
Yes. It is weather, UV and temperature resistant and holds its bond through rain, sun and day-to-night thermal cycling. It serves reliably from about −30°C to +80°C once cured.
Almost always one of three causes: the two components were not mixed for long enough, the ratio was not 1:1, or the temperature was too low. Scrape it off, prepare the surface again, and mix a fresh batch thoroughly for a full 30 seconds.
