☰How to Use the Deli DL-DC28-E2 Rotary Hammer

Check power & tool. Confirm your supply is 220–240V. Inspect the cable, plug and housing for damage. Make sure the switch is OFF before plugging in.
Fit the side handle. Slide the auxiliary handle over the collar, set it at a comfortable angle and tighten. Always use two hands.
Insert the bit. Wipe the bit shank clean and apply a little SDS grease. Pull back the chuck sleeve, push the bit in and twist until it clicks. Tug the bit to confirm it is locked.
Select the mode. Turn the mode selector (only when the motor has fully stopped): drill for wood/metal, hammer drill for concrete and masonry, chisel for chasing and breaking.
Mark and position. Mark the hole, check for hidden pipes and cables, then hold the tip square (90°) to the surface.
Start slowly. Squeeze the variable-speed trigger gently to start the hole, then increase speed. Let the hammer do the work – apply moderate pressure only; pushing hard slows drilling.
Clear dust. For deep holes, pull the bit out every few centimetres to clear debris. Use a depth stop for consistent anchor depth.
Chiselling. In chisel mode hold the tool at 30–45° to the surface and work in short sections from the edge inwards.
Finish & clean. Release the trigger, wait for the tool to stop, unplug, remove the bit and store the tool and accessories in the case.

!Safety & Maintenance Tips

Wear safety glasses, ear protection, dust mask and gloves at all times.
Never change modes while the motor is running.
Use only SDS-Plus bits and chisels in good condition; blunt bits overload the motor.
Keep ventilation slots clear. If the tool gets hot, run it at no load for 1–2 minutes to cool.
Grease bit shanks regularly and blow out dust from the chuck after each job.
Replace carbon brushes when sparking increases or power drops (spare set supplied).
Use a heavy-gauge extension cable and avoid working in wet conditions.
Disconnect from power before changing bits, cleaning or servicing.
