Product Description
The Oriv Shield 703 60mm Padlock is a heavy duty security padlock for homeowners, transporters, contractors and businesses who want dependable protection at an affordable price. At 60mm wide it is stronger than everyday 40mm and 50mm padlocks, yet still fits standard hasps, gate latches and chains.
The hardened steel shackle resists cutting and prying and is plated against corrosion. The chrome-plated brass body does not rust, making it well suited to Kenya's outdoor conditions, from rainy-season gates to dusty site containers.
Security comes from the CS vane key cylinder. Vane keys carry cuts along the side of the blade, giving more combinations and making the lock harder to pick. Each lock comes blister-packed with 4 keys.

How to Use
1 | Check the fit – the shackle should pass freely through your hasp, staple or chain link. |
2 | Test all 4 keys before fitting, and store the spares safely away from the lock. |
3 | Open – insert the vane key fully and turn; the shackle springs open. |
4 | Fit – pass the shackle through the hasp, chain or latch hole. |
5 | Lock – press the shackle down until it clicks, then pull to confirm. |
6 | Reduce the gap – less exposed shackle makes bolt cutters and crowbars harder to use. |
🧴 Care & Maintenance
- Add graphite powder or dry PTFE spray to the keyway every 3–6 months.
- Avoid thick oil or grease – it collects dust.
- Wipe off mud, cement and dirt regularly.
- Outdoors, hang the lock with the keyhole facing down.
