SQUARE GUTTER WATER COLLECTION BOX - WHITE

The white square gutter water collection box — also called a hopper head — is the fitting that sits at the top of a downpipe and catches water dropping from the gutter run above. It gives the water somewhere to gather and turn downward without splashing over the edge, which is where most gutter overflow problems actually start.

Where does a collection box go?

Fit one wherever a gutter discharges into a vertical downpipe, and on longer roofs where two gutter runs meet before a single drop. It is also the easiest point to clear leaves from, since the top is open and reachable from a ladder.
