1 · Prepare Steps 1–3

Measure the roomDivide the ceiling area by ~1.49 m² per panel, then add 5–10% for cuts.

Acclimatise the panelsLay them flat in the room for 24 hours before fitting.

Mark a level lineSnap a line around all walls at the finished ceiling height.

2 · Build the frame Steps 4–5

Fix the branderingSpace battens 400–600 mm apart, running at right angles to the panels.

Fit perimeter trimsFix cornice or L-angle trims along the level line.

3 · Fit the panels Steps 6–10

Cut the first panelWall-to-wall length less ~5 mm, decorative face up.

Fix the first panelSlide into the trim, tongue facing out, and screw through the flange into every batten.

Click in the next panelsPush tongue into groove until tight, then fix. Keep the grain running one way.

Cut openingsMark and cut for lights and fans before fixing that panel.

Fit the last panelCut to width and slide into the trim. Use H-joiners to extend lengths.

4 · Finish Step 11

Peel & cleanRemove the protective film and wipe the ceiling with a damp cloth.

💡 Pro tips: Start from the side people see first. Don't over-tighten screws – it dents the face. Stagger H-joiners in long rooms.

⚠️ Care: Keep bulbs at least 150 mm from the panel. No abrasive cleaners or thinners. Fix fans and chandeliers to the structure, not the panels.

Yes. PVC does not absorb water, so it won't swell, rot or grow mould – ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and verandas.

What does "heavy gauge" mean?

Thicker outer walls and stronger internal ribs than ordinary PVC ceiling, so panels stay straight and resist sagging and knocks.

How many panels do I need?
